Mine didn't have enough material to re-swag but I tapped one side and put a c-clip under the head of the other side and it worked out perfectly. 4 or 5 years ago, still works as it should...

The "proper" way is to remove the glass and tighten the swivel clamp. The other way involves loctite, glue, dimpling the ball to try to get it to stay where it is.

A lot of amplifiers have the option for speaker level inputs or line (RCA) level so you should be able to connect the output of the factory speaker to that input. The speaker impedance doesn't work...

The kicker vents really just go up to the wiper cowl area so if the car ain't moving, or the wind ain't blowing, there's not really any air coming out of them....

Checking and swapping the switch is easy and you don't need to drop the cluser or anything. just that top bezel, 2 screws I think, maybe with a/c a few more should let...
