I’m stumped. It looks like some sort of hood insulation, but not for a 72’, or a Corvette…

Does the piece on the left fold out? Also some sort of reference of the scale of the pieces would be useful.

Sorry. No it doesn't fold out, but it's made of two pieces that are glued together. The tiles are one foot square, but here's another photo with a measuring tape. The small pieces are a dense foam. The larger piece is a lighter foam, with a very very thin plastic covering

The two pieces that are the same shape go behind the quarter trim near the top. I don't recognize that other piece in that state. Can you get some different angles of it>

The other piece or at least a piece of the piece looks vaguely like the foam that would go around the frame rail but it shouldn't have the rectangle part

(My car doesn't have A/C so if it's related to that I wouldn't have seen it)

Thank you for the help so far. I'm still having a little trouble picturing exactly where that is, or how I can get to it. Any chance you could take a photo from a little bit farther away for reference?

That's perfect! Thank you. Also shows me that I am supposed to have the little tab that sticks up through the carpet to attach the cover piece. I appreciate the help
