Wouldn't explain the why it smells after a fresh oil change. Plus do a GOOGLE. Many makes and models with this 'smell'.

I still think its the oil itself. Additive pack. Once again how and why it gets in the car I dunno. Apparently no one has tried to get the 'fragrance' thats added to the oil just to see if it changes...

Also you need a 'street' alignment on your GS. Its been discussed they come through with a aggressive track alignment. It eats up tires. Lots of threads on the subject.
