2. Have you never seen an oil pressure switch fail? Your way isn't guaranteed to shut off the fuel pump.

I don't know. The l98 car was a customers car and my lt1 is modified and injectors were installed at time of modification, I would assume there's a slight increase in mpg's.

Adding coolant there is fine. However, it should have pulled coolant from the reservoir and if it didn't I would bet money you have a coolant leak somewhere.
