Need to put a new check valve on a power brake booster that doesnt have one (in a car i bought, sans engine/trans)

i have an old broken power brake booster and im trying to re-use its check
valve onto this car

it doesnt seem to ‘pull out’

any idea how to get it out?

Should be about to pull it out, try using some type of lube and twist while pulling. If it breaks it looks like a replacement is available at least. Good luck.

Be careful. I broke the booster itself trying to pull mine out. Id say cut the grommet away first. But then, yoire for sure replacing that

Since the booster is cracked, im going to cut it out wirh a dremel

That's a good plan but before you do, you should start a thread that asks "Does anyone know if it makes a difference what type of cutoff wheel I use in my Dremel?"
