Please recommend me a good injector set for 92 LT1 c4
Dear Guys,
Came to replace the old rochester injectors, cos one of them performs very badly even after proper cleanings.
Please recommend me a good, trusty replacement set/brand/product that proved to be perfect for you!
...(with website to purchase them if possible!)
Thank you in advance!
Regards
Gabor

I've used the bosch 3s in an l98 and my lt1 and they worked great. Actually noticed a smother idle, better throttle response.

I contacted FIC in re: to replacing them in my 92 and the ones they recommended were the same as for a L98. They told me to just note in your order that it's for a LT1.
These were the Bosch 3's.

The link from post #2 takes you to a page on FIC's site that says those Bosch IIIs are a one year only injector for 92s. I'd like to find out what those originally came out of as the factory ones are NOT Bosch IIIs. I can get fuel injectors for a couple of dollars a piece out of the wrecking yard instead of $229 for 8. For my 93 Jeep I found online that the 96-00 Dodge Neon injectors were the same spec, but 4 hole (basically Bosch IIIs). I got a set out of the wrecking yard of those and it made a noticeable difference in my jeep. The old single hole injectors are not as efficient as the 4 hole.

That was for rebuilt ones. I had asked them what was the best bang for the buck and that is what they recommended.

You cannot go wrong with FIC. Just give him a call and he will be the best option. As Blue Bucket List stated the rebuilt ones are great. i put them in my 92 and they were a noticeable improvement over the factory ones.

I think I found the part number. 0280155715. Common on 96 Frod 3.0L V6 DOHC found in the Taurus. I found an old post on this forum stating the stock 92 computer is actually set at 23.8 lbs for the injectors. I'll give these a shot and probably make a new thread with my results. It will be a while before I get these. I'm not going out of my way to do this. I'd also like to put some miles on my car after I have done a bunch of other stuff and get a good base line.

I've wondered whether there's a Denso / Dephi 12 hole fuel injector that would work on a TPI / LT1...
If you've got 24 lb injectors, the 2000-2004 Toyota Tundras come with a 250cc injector that is very close on flow and should have FANTASTIC atomization, but, I'm not sure about the height or orings...
2006-2010? Tundras had 270cc injectors, there are 330cc / 31.4 lb injectors available for the 2006 Tundas, too.
There's considerably bigger ones from 2011-2015 Toyota Scions and the Nissa G35/G37s and GTRs.
-Not sure what size injectors came on the 92 LT1...
I've been meaning to do the spec hunt to find a 12 hole that would work but it just didn't make it to the top of my priority list yet...
