I haven't had much luck with vinegar full strength to get rid of water spots on glass or fiberglass. I rely on my random orbital buffer and a cleaner wax.

We're now at 8-22 degrees and I can't do any waxing at these temps. Humidity at 100%, it takes forever for the polish/wax to dry so I end up smearing around wet wax. I'll wait until the temp hits...

I use my random orbital buffer to remove scratches and swirl marks all the time. It works great, but maybe takes a little longer. I use 3M products.
