Default Will Any Random Orbital Polisher Due For Minor Scratch Removal?

I have a Sear's Orbital Sander that will operate up 12,000 OPM in the same manner (Random/Orbital ) as the PC 7224 everone is talking about. Is it possiable to use these types of Polishers/Sanders with the appropiate Cutting PADS?

Sorry, I edited. It is SEARS not B&D.

No, I would stick with the Porter Cable 7336 or 7224 or a Cyclo. These are the only ones I know of that are powerful enough to do any scratch and swirl removal IMHO. I am unfamiliar with the B&D unit.

I use my random orbital buffer to remove scratches and swirl marks all the time. It works great, but maybe takes a little longer. I use 3M products.
