Got a Waxmaster FA 7000 random orbital for a present. Wish it had been a PC, but you takes what you get. Only thing it has just one speed???? Anybody have any experience with this device?? Thanks.

I have received one as a gift some time ago. still have, and use it. I use it to apply polish for an even coat then take off by hand. I've been using Rejex for now. I have a Milwaukee variable speed rotary for compound and swirl removal.

Most of the orbitals out there with the exception of the Porter Cable and Cyclo are only good enough to apply a layer of wax and are not nearly powerful or fast enough to remove any swirls or even spider webbing. If you can return it and get your money back to put towards a PC I think you will get alot more use out of it and be alot happier.

no offense .... but if you got a gift receipt you might wanna trade it in for something you want, and then look at a Porter Cable 7424 or 7336.

I've been using my Waxmaster for 3 years to remove swirls and scratches, using 3M products. I disagree with those who say a RO buffer won't remove these imperfections.

Can you give me some guidance on which pads and technique you use? Thanks

I also use my Waxmaster to remove scratches. I wet sand then use a foam pad.
