Fixed !

Holley carb front bowl.
The inside was peeling...
Ordered a new bowl and took carburator off for a good air pressure clean up.
Reinstalled everything et voila.

By the time you finish fixing this baby, you will be over 10k !

Look for the 1980 vettes and you will find many of them in fair good shape starting around 10....

My seats are vinyl red in color.
The 100% leather was soooo attractive and looked :cool:

Its hard making the decision because all is such in good shape:(

My 80 vette is burgandy whine in color. The paint is in top shape.
The interior is also in top shape. Red in color.
Seats are in vinyl. Dash is brand new...

Those darn cheap window switches....

They sure don't make them like they used too :(

I take them apart, clean them and bend the metal for the contact blade to be more rigid....

According to many threads, only the SS Cragars required back spacing. The TT2's is bolt on and shine and go !

Hey guys
I have an 1980 and had the same problems.
Highbeam worked but no "click"... Had to hold on to the stick to stay in that mode.

I'm far from being a mecanic but I remembered fixing it...

Replaced and fixed !

Canister was pretty much banged up and covered/smeered with JB Weld.... it was cracked up :ack:

The actuators dust boots looked in poor shape and I imagined the status of the "Witch" hats/seals...
