I've seen a few topics about carbon buildup on exhaust tips, and one of the causes that usually comes up is your car is running too rich. This is probably a stupid question, but how is that...

:confused: Probably a dumb question but, what's in there gas, water? That would go back into the block if the trap wasn't there?

I get the soot on my Corsas also. Originally I thought it was a rich/lean condition or maybe bad gasoline I was using. Talking to Forum members about seemed to point me in the direction of burning...

It's nice to finally use a product that lives up to it's hype. I was pretty amazed at what a great job this thing did. I usually use half a dozen towels drying the car, after the blade, I used one...
