Just wondering if a paste wax like Meguiars will hurt the acrylic top on the Vette? Anything else recomended to help the water bead and roll off?
Thanks...
Waxes typically have some light solvents in them, so over time I don't know whether you'd see a negative effect or not. I'd recommend Zaino, personally. It works great on smooth plastics.
Been using megs for 3 yrs. and no problem. Have you noticed that every time somebody asks what to use for a particular situation, without hesitation somebody says Zaino. I'll bet if I asked what takes pimples off your arz somebody would say Zaino. Forgive me I'm in a real mood today been fighting with Geico about raising my rates for a no fault accident where i had no damage and the ticket i received was dismissed in court.

Sorry about your problems, but I'm not going to stop recommending a product I like just because it offends your sensibilities. I'm not selling the crap, I just like it.
Very Phunny
I heard yesterday that "My Big Fat Greek Wedding Sequel" will be using Zaino instead of Windex for curing all ails. :smash:
Joel,
Just to clarify for me, you've been using Meguiars on the acrylic top for 3 years?
Good luck with Geico
Yes, have been using either the Gold Class or High Tech Yellow since the new top was installed 3 yrs. ago. Looking good. BTW screw Geico they could care less. I'm going to try esurance.com. was about 30-40% lesss than Geico.
