Congrats on the 85. On my 84 and 88, the switch to the right of the pull-out light switch is for the fog lights.

Definitely check the ground - driver's side, right above the oil filter. I couldn't believe how loose it was on my '84. All my digital dash woes went away after I cleaned and tightened it up.

On my '84, my panel flickered alot when I first got it - turned out to be the ground right near the oil filter. It was finger-loose. Cleaned and tighten it up - no more flickering....
