Edelbrock 600 CFM (#1406) to replace stock ’79 L-48 Quadrajet?

My original Carter (yes Carter) Quadrajet still causes the idle to be a little high. It may be the ubiquitous butterfly shaft leak (bushings). I have an Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor. Will it fit...

I have a 1977 Camaro that sat up for a couple of years. Recently, I replaced the old gas w/ fresh, new plugs and had it running for about 20minutes. Now, I can’t get fuel up to filter (right before...

The CC exhaust system is intended to fit with the heat riser in place. Mine wasn't working so I removed it and had no problems with the pipes fitting - without a spacer.

It’s been a few years since I’ve looked at it but on my ’79, it was attached to a large wiring bundle above the driver’s side floorboard. Light blue plastic case roughly 1” square. Hope this helps.

I installed their dual exhaust kit on my ’79 about a month ago. I mounted mine up to the OEM exhaust manifolds instead of going to headers. The fit is pretty good. In fact, the center sections are...

I emailed them with a simple question regarding one of their brake caliper packages about three weeks ago. I got a "read" receipt but never received a response. Took my money elsewhere.

Anyone?

Yes, I know. “Pretty tight with a 4-way” works for most of us. However, I have a cute, micrometer-type, ratcheting torque wrench that I like to take out of the tool box and use every...

I was just curious how a modified C3 (upgraded shocks, tires, sway bar, etc. – no fancy multi-link suspensions) compare to more contemporary cars in standardized tests (skid pad, slalom). Anybody...

First, is there any issue with replacing just one caliper? I understand that on a “typical” brake job when pads are being replaced, both sides of the axle are done because if one side is worn, the...
