I used a pedal and cable assy from a C-4 (90) for my 62 with TPI motor. it fits the new surroundings well and looks "stock".

Our trip last week to Crater Lake we got 22mpg in the 62. The 90 TPI motor and 6 speed may have helped with that however. ;)

Are you sure your crate 305 water pump wasn't intended for a serpentine belt system? I assume you're running a std V-belt, which turns the pump the opposite direction.
