I'll just drive fast if it rains or park it if its a torrent until it clears up enough to drive...

400 miles one way...
Well Jack?????? There's been lots of thunder storms around the area over the past few days, but hopefully you were able to dodge the biggest ones.

Hit a little raing around Lakehead, but when I got to Mt. Shasta it was a little overcast.

The trip went real good and nothing but HOT...face and 'bald spot' was wind/sun burnt...Had a good time at the car show in Fossil...NO RAIN...

Took 2nd place in my category...

Got around 13.5mpg and no problems other than dash lights quit...I'm working them tomorrow by upping to 5amp fuse...

We were road-trippin, but doing it in our Land Rover Defender 110 so we could take the pups along for some camping! Driving across Alaska in the long days of summer is great up here!!

Drove the 67 to Hampton Beach, Nh. for Whole belly clams. on Thursday. Drove home Sat. almost 500mi. total. The car runs great, and is dry inside in the rain. It rained most of the way home. I would have gotten soaked in the convertible. Do they all leak in a heavy rain?

They're really good in the car!! Out in the wild is a completely different story...especially the 10 month old GSD!!

We've had a really nice summer up here so far! Several fires have put a dampener on some activities, but it's been warm and pretty so far!

Looks like you had a nice trip, thanks for the pics. Are you coming to "Fabulous Fifties" this year?

Not this year, I'm taking my mom to her High School Reunion in Prineville Oregon...

There are only 3 left of her graduating class...

my 62 doesn't leak a drop. if I were to drive an hour in a heavy rain….. the water on the floor would still be there months later, if I didn't vacuum it out myself.

Suspicious story
But it called to mind one time in the northern Rockies in my '67 ragtop when I was so sick of days of rain that I was glad when it began snowing. At least the inch-deep ponds in both footwells froze and I didn't have to listen to that sloshing sound any more. True story.
