It turns out that it was the seal. The seal I had felt like a piece of jello in your hand the seal would not pack into the upper or lower channels thus causeing it to pop out on assembley, I guess...

I am replaceing my windshield seal on my 59 I dismanteld the frame cleaned everything, purchased a new windshield, new seals, t-bolts had my post tabs fixed and am haveing trouble with the assembley....
