unless you used a fuel pressure gage you can not be certain what is happening. if you turn key ON, are you sure the fuel pump is running for 2 seconds? if it is, we can't be sure that pressure is up...

sounds like the connection to the key reader, which is what you will replace with the Echler's resistor bypass. should have a small blk connector, male I think, and the female is up there somewhere.

I think the ECM shuts off the injectors during closed throttle deceleration. A popping should be a rich mixture, from my experience. I agree with GKK. The noise I heard on the video was normal.

I don't see it as a "lack of fuel" issue. if it were too lean to takeoff...

oil pressure switch is a backup only in case FP relay fails. relay is not supposed to drop out. for the pump not to run after priming the rails, both the relay and the ops would have to fail.
