I've driven mine from Williamsport PA (1.5 hrs N of Hershey) to just west of Louisville KY (home) twice, and the drive is really nice... all that open road is just waiting for you

I got a simple C3 flag logo on a black plate. Cost me around $10 at the dealership- they had it sitting amongst the hats and decals, it just happened to catch my attention one day.

I had the same thing happen- I put in one exactly the same, no dice. I ended up buying a replacement gear to replace the replacement... worked fine. GM dealer had one in stock, too :)

Check your policy, but mine covers the vette as an asset if it's:

*stored in an insured structure
*not registered (tagged) and insured under an auto insurance policy.
