'79 numbers matching 4 speed 4 sale
It's been a while since I thought about this, but it looks as though Mrs. Doc and I will be relocating yet again... which means it's time to sell the '79. I'm hoping she'll make someone as happy as I've been. Here's the skinny:
Asking: $13,000
Garage kept 1979 4-speed manual tran, L48 195HP with 140 MPH speedo
White with red interior
Power Windows, Door Locks
Mirrored Roof Panels with original covers
Rear Window Defroster
Air Conditioning
Sport Mirrors
Tilt-Telescopic Steering
Aluminum Wheels
AM/FM Stereo With cassette (non factory, but I have original), Power Antenna and dual rear speakers
The even better part: NUMBERS MATCHING all original everything- literally. Minus the original tires, battery and oil, if it came with the car, it's either on there or I've got it in a box. 65,000 actual miles, and new BF Goodrich 225 70R15 tires (less than 3K miles).
TRUTH:
-I've replaced the valve seals, head and oil pan gaskets due to age- they were a little dry. Main seal looked good, and clutch was good.
-Flushed the radiator for good measure.
-A/C needs recharged (it's Georgia!), but it has been converted to R134a
-The steering wheel and driver's seat are worn a bit, but not bad.
-Replaced the RF brake caliper due to age.
-Paint is original, and looks 26 years old. Not flaking/missing, but faded
That's about it. I've attached a couple images, and have plenty more I can email to anyone interested. I'm located in Macon, GA.
Thanks for reading this far

Just wondering if you've had any luck selling your vette yet? I noticed that your asking price is $13,000, which is what I am hoping to get for my '79 with only 30,000 miles. Seems our cars are very similar in that they are both completely original survivors, never been modified or restored.
