I know Amazon has them for around $300.00,but I was hoping someone rebuilds them. All that's needed is someone who has the talent to replace the stranded wire, and they could run an exchange program....

Window regulator problems

Anyone else having problems with there window regulators? I realize my Vette is 11 years old, but my driver's side regulator bound up about 6 months ago, and last week, my passengers side bound up....

I just had that problem. In my case, it was the cable connector under the shifter. There is a lot of heat there from the exhaust, and the plastic connector becomes brittle, and eventually breaks....

not acceptable, but then again, a body kit on my car wouldn't be acceptable even if the colors did match. I don't like it at all. Just my opinion. :lurk:

seems to be between the outside of the window and the rubber. Is there a compound to soften the rubber or something? :confused2:
