Re: WTB Headers (LS1 CRAZY)

I have a set off of my 99. Just put on a set of tts. They only have 20k miles on them. Make me an offer. :)

Re: WTB: Magnesium Wheel Decal + Cheap Performance Mods! (C5 Frederik)

I'll take 4 please. Just curbed one the rims last week. They look absolutely awesome when they're clean and downright disgusting when you curb one.

I'm close! Maybe in the spring. Would it be possible to test one with a similar setup one weekend?

Just called Fitchner Chev. and their best price on new Mag. wheels for a 99 was $2718.54. Can anybody beat that? That was with Forum discount also.

Re: Best shifter? (zrchris)

Thanks for your informative suggestions. We all should feel very fortunate to even own a corvette. And to keep things in perspective; we can't take her with us to heaven.... Just a thought.

Re: X-Over Install Location??? (mrkln)

The amp dedicated to the sub is actually underneath of the box. It fits perfect. The other one is mounted on a 3/4" platform in front of the crossovers on the rear panel of the car.

Re: Anyone ever use or hear an 8" mb quart in the door of a C5? (WildWolf)

Re: Best air filter? (wstory1)

Thanks everybody for your help. I'm going to research the MTI a little more
before deciding. I'm convinced that the cold air induction is the way to go.
It makes sense

I guess it would be the entire air induction system. I read a little info on
the Donaldson air filter, but it sounds like it doesn't come with anything else.

Re: What size component sets would fit in the front speaker areas for the C5???? (dahoof)

I just had a pair of Boston Acoustics 8's along with BA's 1" tweeters installed in the front. They really help bring the bass forward to the soundstage. Highly recommended if it's in your budget. ...
