You're probably looking at a new tranny. 4L60E's are famous for losing 3rd and 4th gears. It happened to me on my 2000 Coupe.....and every other Chevrolet I've ever owned since I was 16.

At any speed when I roll into the throttle you can hear and feel the blower fan slow down and less cold air comes through the vents. When I let off the gas you can hear and feel the blower fan speed...

Weird thing. When I have my air conditioning on, the fan slows down when I accelerate, then it speeds back up once I let off the gas. What the heck?

I have a set of 4 Y2K polished thin spokes with tires that came off my 2000 Coupe when I upgraded.
Front wheels have some rash and no tires. Rear wheels have some rash and come with almost new...

Yeah thats what I did. Got some liquid electrical tape as well as some regulare electrical tape. I slathered the liquid on good. Once it dried I wrapped it with the regular tape just to be sure.

Not sure about the shocks, but I switched out my base FE1 springs to z06 springs and hardly noticed any difference at all.

The sway bars...holy crap what a difference!!!

DUDE!!! I had this exact same problem the whole first 6 months I owned my car. I can tell you with 100% confidence that the problem is the brake pedal switches needing adjustment.

Toyo Proxes T1R is what I run. I like them alot and they were less than a grand installed. Mine are Z06 sizes.

If you have run flats get rid of them in favor of a softer tire. I have Toyo Proxes T1R's and the difference between them and the Run Flats is significant.

Also may want to look into going to Z51...
