Default sway bars

I have a 97 vette and looking to buy front and rear sway bars. Which sway bars are the best for my vette and how much do they cost. Also do you have an idea on how much they should charge to put them in?

Thanks for the info!

Used sways come up quite frequently in the for sale section. I swapped my base FE1 sways with Z06 sways last year. OMG the difference was amazing. They were inexpensive and the best $$$ I ever spent on a modification.
You could probably get someone to install them for around $150. My sways were $200 used and I bought them from a forum member.

You could also go with C6 Z51 sway bars and metal endlinks from Gene Culley at GMpartshouse for $300 and do the job yourself, its really easy. The difference they made in my handling was well worth the money.

Look at the C6z51 package with OME bushings or the Poly. Venders are offering this sway bar upgrade with the Poly bushings for around $200.00. Get the metal end links (4@about $25.00 ea.) and your in buisness. Great upgrade. Don't forget your Z06 shock absorbers? Hay, it's only money.

+1 on the C6 Z51's - made a HUGE difference in the handling of my 97
-- on the street and especially on the track. Very easy mod.

Thanks for the referral. I would certainly stick with the C6 Z51 sway bars with the poly bushings. Feel free to contact me directly or give me a call with any questions.
