yes it is bad. Put 5 qts in start it up and without driving shift it thru the gear then start adding the other 5 qts and check your level as you go.

I just replaced the 4L60E in my 95 it took 10 qts in the trans and 1 qt in the converter.

Total fill would be if you pulled the trans and had an empty converter. If your just dropping the pan and changing the filter you only need 5 qts.

Been there I just put a new trans in my car last week. It went as far as off the lift and no 1st gear and would not come out of 3rd.:willy:

I use Amsoil synthetic ATF works great for me.

I had the LT4 Hot Cam in my motor for a year and Im happy its gone now. Its not all it made out to be. I put in a new Comp Cam int exh 224/230 115 lsa ICA of 112 with 0.571/0.581 lift. with 1.6rr

I have the 160 stat in my 95 and it never goes above 180. But it also sucks if its really cold out like around it the 40's because it wont go above 170 and runs like crap.

Dont have the cash for it. I just did the top half of my motor and as of last week put a new trans in it. Im broke unless you do payment plan.
