Man, I had NO IDEA Hids were THAt cool! Wow. Whatever happened to lights for 15 each that were halogens? Then again, tech has taken us way past halogens. Never mind, I kinda answered my own wonderings.

They are cool. But it's a lotta coin to me.

Those look good, as well as your car. I ordered mine from a supporting vendor. Mine are HID also, but the headlight is a projector. I will post some pics tonight of what mine look like.

I can't wait to hear about the night vision. I would be very intrested in these, considering that my Hella's are about done... the lenses have been beaten up pretty darned good.

These do maintain both high and low beam functionality?

How does the little ballast box thingy fit? Would like to see some underhood pictures.

It does retain high and low capabilities.... the ballast fits snuggly inside the flip up bucket. I have it fastened to the fiberglass framing for the flipup headlights. The Painted plastic thing hides up everything.

Looks like it would be even cheaper for me. I already have a standard H4 conversion which tosses the light out in a european spec pattern instead of the crappy DOT pattern. All I need is the conversion kit itself, although your lenses look REALLY cool.

Looks like I get to add one more item to my future mods list.

I would still like to see some underhood pictures if you've got the time. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Thanks so much for the info!

I would be concerned putting an HID bulb into a fixture designed for a halogen bulb, they have seriously different lensing requirements.

One would think so but the conversion kits don't specifically mention it.
