Faulty outside door switch FIXED

The passenger side outside door pad would not open the door...

You can check the MAF Sensor

When the symptoms occur, quickly raise the hood and unplug the MAF sensor....if the idle problem goes away, that's the problem...
DO NOT drive it with the MAF sensor unplugged.....

Best place to order a new passenger outside door handle

Tried cleaning the old one times three....swapping with the driver's door handle fixes the problem...what is the best online source for this part?
Courtesy in San Jose has ridiculous prices....

Try Tecron first

It is the left side sensor that usually fails.... make sure you get the newest version, as there are a lot of 'old' ones which are prone to failure out there in the supply chain.... lots of posts on...

Do not throw money at this problem

I would be very strong with the dealer for such an expensive repair that yielded no results.... most Fob problems have to do with the battery in the Fob or position of the Fob.... clean the door...

Clutch fluid change is a good idea

You won't believe the difference... especially if the fluid is dark...
I do it regularly because I autocross.... best reventive maintenance ever!

A Battery Tender helps.... can attach it right to the battery or hook it up through the cigarette lighter / accessory outlet
