Default Noisy Targa Top when stored in rear cargo area

The plastic creaking / squeaking from the Targa top when stored in the rear of my C6 is irritating as heck. Any ideas? It sounds like it is plastic on plastic in nature....tempted to add felt to the front cradles....
Any idea best way to apply? Any advice is much appreciated!!!

What I did was get some strips of velcro and put the soft side on the tops of the holders in the hatch area. It works great.

I made a thread about this a while back and this is the suggestion I used:

The link contains a diagram that shows where to put the velcro.

Some time after 2005, GM started adding some of the soft side Velcro in the little "pocket" that's at the front of the targa, on each side. Check that it's still there, replace as necessary.

Even with that Velcro, we would get an occasional slight rattle from our top when it was stored in the trunk. I added some soft side Velcro on the "platforms" just below the hooks, where the front of the targa rests when stored. Like the picture in the link.
Perfectly quiet now.
