92' Wont start 5 min after running

My Dads 92' has been having a problem with starting. If it does start it runs great. After he shuts it off, he can restart right away, but if he waits approx 5 minutes...it wont start. He then has...

How do I reset Heating controls on 92'

Battery ran low, charged it back up and now I cant get my heating controls to work, screen is blank, nothing works from control panel...do I need to reset by disconnecting my battery and hooking back...
