Another approach would be to borrow one, get your car judged, and return it - Maybe someone here would be willing to do that.

I'd fix the lighter socket and use a USB power /voltmeter plug in from Amazon - You get USB 2.0, USB3.0 charging ports and a voltmeter out of one part....

I am unaware of any clips that go on the vertical side moldings . Can someone shed some light on this ? My car is a mid April build if that matters.
