I am selling my 1966 Convertible, I listed it in 2022 but decided to keep at that time as I am building a new home now is the time to sell. Two time top flight with last being 6/21 at the Heartland Regional Event. Car is located in Ohio and is in a location with a lift to make inspection easier for potential buyer.

Nice car! I read a few of your prior posts (2022) whereby you questioned the authenticity of the engine stamp before purchase. Did you ever get an expert inspection/confirmation whether the stamp was original or a restamp?

I have not looked in the restoration books or judging manuals - are the mufflers being coated with paint or undercoat customary? Very nice car - good luck with the sale.

I did not pay for verification. All I have is the NCRS judging sheets. Appreciate the follow up

I appreciate all who have reached out about this car. It is currently still only listed on the forum. Based on what it appears a consignment will bring I am willing to reduce to 79500 for a private sale. If it is not worth that I am going to find a way to keep it. It is a great car and is ready for spring cruising and car shows. Still in heated storage with lift onsite if anyone would like to take a look. I am going to give the forum another week then list more broadly on classic car sites.

thanks for all questions an interest

I figured out how to do it. Thanks for everyone that inquired or commented on the car. I only advertised it here on the forum and dealt with some really great people.

Thanks for all your help!

Unless those KO's are the bolt on type, the new owner should switch wheels to the other side. The spinners are on backward.

I'm not 100% on the C2's, but on the C1's the blackout paint on the mufflers was standard from the factory. It typically burns off though. This is one beautiful car.
