Literature on detailing under hood.

Anyone here know of any good literature on detailing underhood. I will not be pulling the engine but will repaint the inner fenders and possibly the firewall.

Replacement taillight socket too small for bulb

Bought replacement taillight housings years back and the light sockets are too small. What can be done about that?

Like I said, I will be using the stock fuel filter and bracket. Besides a neopreme hose, what kind of fuel line can I use to an edelbrock carburetor.

What is easiest way to install stock fuel pump and filter

I want to bypass my electric fuel pump in rear of 63 vette and install stock pump, fuel line to carb and filter. What is the best way to do that - above or below? I am using a Edelbrock Carburetor....

Paint for underhood

I painted my underhood years ago when the engine was out. I used a popular spray can and don't remember brand. What used to be the go to paint.

going to put ignition shield back on

with new sparkplug wires. I took them off and put accel wires on because I had wires shorting. What spark plug wires work best with the covers. I don't need ultra high performance as I do not race it...

Thanks Jack. I have not found a brass cutoff valve, only a steel with brass innards. Also, I have not seen an aluminum T. Where are you finding them.

How to keep heater hose connections from rusting

The tee going into my reservoir is rusted. Also, I am getting a cutoff valve for my heater hose. I want to keep both from rusting. Will it work if I paint them with clear paint?

I taped mine with the correct width of pin...

I taped mine with the correct width of pin stripes and that worked well for me. It seems to me that it would dull the finish if you sand.
