Bingo, that answers my question. My A6 does not have those lines so I don't have an EOC. Great job folks and thanks for ALL the responses.

Pennzoil makes good oil. I have been using Castrol with the same approvals as the Pennzoil for 3 years now and have not had any issues. It is Dexos1 certified so drive on.

Maybe they haven't told you for the same reasons they haven't told me to use Mobil1, or Castrol, or Pennzoil,, or Redline, or Liqui Moly, or Valvoline.
