GS F brake pad change
So, after almost 2 days of searching this forum for tips, tricks and recommendations, I am going with the Powerstop rotors and extreme pads. Amazon had them for ~$400 and free shipping and should be here next Friday.
And yes I verified I have the J56 brake setup.
With all that being said, any tips or tricks I may have missed in 2 days of research? Keep in mind I'm well over 65 and have probably missed something.
Thanks

Burning Brakes
$400 seems a bit much for powerstops, but they should be pretty straight forward.
Just make sure if you got the padlets that you install them the correct orientation.
the dealer I bought my car from put the pads upside down. I thought how the hell can someone do that, but when you see the padlets you will understand

Drifting
Get some brake assembly lube to apply to all the friction points. Otherwise you will be squealing. Also make sure you bed the new pads once complete and you should be good to go.

Installs straight forward, make sure you do the bedding procedure right. It should be listed on their website.

One other question.. Have seen references to lubing certain parts in the caliper. Can someone give some clear guidance on that please? Have never lubed parts in a caliper before.......
