Well, don't know how loud is too loud for you, but sidepipes and too loud are what sidepipes usually are. Unless you get stock. I have their inserts in my Hooker sidepipes, and yes you can hear them....

A good auto parts store will have those. And you can get two wires to fit those pretty easily. I’ve done it many times, along with the proper crimping pliers, packard/delphi.

You could use your dipstick if you want to try and get that seal out. But be careful of scratching anything. End of dipstick should be blunt and smooth enough

I have found that often the new castle nuts are shorter, assuming taper of new part is correct for the application. Find a taller nut, use original if taller, or use washer/s under the nut.

That pic is just one application. A telescopic shaft is not required to drive it .From what I can see, I believe this unit would eliminate having any kind of a ujoint angle issue.
