I have had an ongoing problem with my 85 vette. I picked up an "Actron" scanner, hooked it up and seem to be getting some weird readings.

Does anyone know if all knock sensors from the General are rated the same? Will one from say a 4.3 Astro van, 5.0 Caprice and A l98 interchange and function correctly?

If you ever need a large allen wrench for such a job just use a bolt with the proper size head, double nut it to provide a spot to turn, and insert head into allen bolt.
