where to get get a new Ragjoint/universal joint on a 96
I need a new ragjoint/universal joint on my 96 coupe because mine has worn and I believe it is causing a poping sound. Does anyone have this part number for this item or any information on where to get one? thanks

I posted this company's number before for ring and pinion but you may want to try them for Ujoints. I was told to make sure you DEFINITELY use ujoints with the teflon in them otherwise they'll blow the grease out... something to do with the fact that the driveshaft is aluminum....

I have replaced a couple in the last several years. I do not remember so don't hold me to it but I think about $130. It an easy change labor wise. :chevy

You are going to have to get the part from a dealer, they will look up the number. If you give them the number and it comes in as the incorrect part they will be less than impressed with you. Might even charge a restocking fee.

Part number 26022830. List is 446.98. Must be gold plated. My cost is 280.26 so I know the discount can be had. Have fun. :chevy
