Car won't start, Ignition switch???

OK it has been acting funny..the other day I turned off the car, pulled out the key, got out, then realized the car is still running... so I jiggled the ignition and it shut off... Now, it won't turn...

I recommend jacking up the driver side, removing the wheel, and then taking off the center and rear wheel well pieces(it sounds like alot, but it takes 10 minutes to do all that). once those are out...
