Default Newby here - My first question

Hello all - I'm told this is the place to learn everything about vettes and I have my first question. I just bought a 2006, z51 coupe. Its simply a GREAT car! However, the original owner had the front so low (as low as it can possibly go) that it grounds out on everything. I like that the car was lowered but this is a tad too much. Can someone tell me (or lead to a picture post) on how to raise the front of the car about 1.5 - 2 inches? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Search the forum on how to lower your car and just reverse the process.

Just run a search for lowering the car, or lowering bolts, and you will come up with many instructional threads. (Do the opposite)! Here are a few...

Welcome, congrats on your new car, and good luck with it.

Key is to get the weight of the Vette off the A-Arm. Do it with out jacking the spring and you WILL strip the head of the bolt.

Little WD40 on the treads doesn't hurt?

Are you sure it was lowered, the car sits very low anyway. It definitely teaches you how to angle your car into certain places. I have an 07 is the reason I am asking. Mine drags coming and going into our driveway. We put cheater wheels on the front to give it a lift going up inclines. This helped until I put bigger wheels/tires on the car.
