Re: PROGRAMMER?????? (JSMITH1615)

If it's an auto you are probably reaching the torque management threshhold. It will not only remove timing to get the torque down, but also reduce throttle at the throttle body.

If it's a 6spd...

Re: Reduced Engine Power after Porting TB HELP!! (AZGASSER)

Most likely a P1514 Code

This can happen with ported TB's if you remove too much material around the throttle opening area. If you look at a stock TB there is a slight decrease in diameter. This...

Re: looking for a GM LS1 LS6 flash file. (OpCode)

I think there is a bit of confusion here. The original poster needed raw .bin files for a programming project.

Unless you've mapped out the data tables for your build ID and have a way of loading...

Re: Boost and altitude. (lplott)

Tuning a car at altitude and going to sea level would open a can of worms. The other way not as much of an issue.

If for example a car makes 700RWHP up at Denver. The last time I tuned there the...

Re: mmsracing.com is down site and email (Dr. Pham)

Thanks for the offer.

Apparently I'm not the only one out a website.

Good news though is that the email should be working providing the DNS change has propagated to all the nameservers.

Re: mmsracing.com is down site and email (gary brown)

Sorry to here about the domain name problem. Nothing is ever simple is it :)

Re: Has MAF draw-through been tried on ATI? (boblackhardtop)

We just made 640 RWHP 575 RWTQ on a 346 CI w/ a 3.85 pulley with the same inlet. The 3.70" pulley should be worth another 1-2 psi and 15-25 HP.

Re: Has MAF draw-through been tried on ATI? (QuickSilver2002)

The fresh air source that normally goes to the TB is moved to the inlet of the blower to prevent pressurization. But on blowthrough it is before the MAF so any air being sucked into the crankcase...

Re: forced induction experts please chime in on the feasability of... (AVETTE)

you can run a s/c'er but here are a couple things.

Run a P1SC. They are quieter and will allow you to keep the boost down. Run a 4.00" or 4.10" pulley to keep the boost down to 5-6 psi.
Run our...

Re: Has MAF draw-through been tried on ATI? (SleepieAce)

Unfortunately, it's a bit more involved. The inlet on the Procharger kit is right against the radiator. Our FMIC upgrade kit puts the inlet in the passenger fenderwell. I'm sure with some creative...

Re: Has MAF draw-through been tried on ATI? (blu00rdstr)

Our Supercharger System is a draw through design. We've found that blow through affects the MAF calibration tremendously. I've done a lot of data logging of blow through and draw through and the...

Re: PLEASE VOTE ON WEATHER N20 IS FORCED INDUCTION OR NA!!! (96VIPERGTS)

It is neither as previously posted.
N2O provides it's own oxygen content. Forced induction compresses it, N/A uses what's available by the natural environment.

Re: King Kong is headed home numbers inside!! (boblackhardtop)

Actually it has a lot more to do with the big cubes.

Actually it has more to do with the big cubes. Everyone's been used to seeing 346 dyno graphs. They are all generally peaky.

Re: Getting Close 659 RWTQ @4600rpm, 657 RWHP@ 5600rpm (boblackhardtop)

Yes there is an 8 rib on this car. We had to machine a bracket to get the tensioner to line up. It was different than another 8 rib we did which required the whole assy to be spaced. Our belt...

Getting Close 659 RWTQ @4600rpm, 657 RWHP@ 5600rpm

King Kong is almost done. We had a Power steering pump blow on the dyno last night. Our new tech Rob kindly stayed late last night to tear it all apart and replace the pump. Should be up on the...

Re: I got a glimmer of the potential tonight (Shinobi'sZ)

I disagree Kevin, all the 8 ribs I've done have a tendency to slip. The stock tensioner doesn't put enough load over the belt. The total "grip" doesn't change much with a wider belt if the force...

Re: Finally Popped for Forged Short Block (AWSM_06)

Maybe we should AWSM_TQ. Maybe some 100 octane and a pulley swap and we'll hit 600 RWTQ. Enjoy the car this weekend !!!!
