Modeling clay works well for measuring the clearance under the hood with it closed. It's cheaper than Play-Doh and available at any craft store in small sticks.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Mine is the original SB with a lot of modifications pumping out near 400 BHP so it will be lighter in the front-end and easier to steer at slow speeds (I hope!)... :thumbs:
