Prev owner on my current project put an Auto Zone Opti in. It was still clean as new when it failed. Just because it is new/replaced does not guarantee it is good.

you should have a reading around 40 at the fuel rail if everything is good. It will go down some but a large drop or increase means trouble. What reading did you get?
