I'm not sure anyone knows whats going to become a classic... I can remember looking at a 58 vette, with dad, back in 72, the price was $800.... I'm sure dad wishes he'd bought that car now.

I did this last year... cant find the post tho. Cut the original air box in half and flipped it upside down, and cut a hole in the radiator shroud.

You've got a bad connection somewhere.... Check connection at starter, and check ground connections too. Do you know how to do a voltage drop test?
If you have a multimeter, you can do this test to...

When I was having VATS problems, I found that the ecm had a code in it for VATS. Mine an 86, don't know if the 88's are like this, but if they are, it could save you from "barking up the wrong tree"....

I always warm up the engine, by taking a drive, before I evac.. The underhood temp. will help boil off any moisture while evacing the system.

The good thing about all the work is.... I've only got about 900 bucks in it right now. Due mainly to the "sweat equity" that I've put into it, and also it sucks, not to drive it for 6 months too.

Here they are... two more rounds of sanding, 1500 then 2000, and we can buff.
The paint is so deep looking. We put base color on and two coats of clear, along with enhancer, which makes it lay out...

Flashing the stall is when you go to full throttle, from idle, or a little off idle.
The flash stall is always higher than when you brake torque, you'll also find that your car sixty foots better...

If you have a vacuum gauge, you can check for clogged cats.... Hook the gauge up to manifold vacuum, with the engine warmed up, hold the rpms to around 2500, and watch the vacuum gauge.... if it...

My car was not starting on occasion, and I found that it had set a VATS code.
I started using the spare key, and hasn't let me down since.

Mine didn't click or anything, tho... pull your codes...

I put one of these on my Cutlass drag car. My only reason for the install was for the rev limiter. What I did notice was that the car starts faster when cold. It didn't help ET or anything like that....

I once looked at an Olds Aurora, that had a bra on it for some time, It basically ruined the paint up front. No bras for me... no tailgating either!

I've seen them leak were the tubes are welded to the collectors, a pin hole in the weld will make it tick. Seen it alot on GM factory headers.
