Yes, the 73 corvette is my wife's and we ordered it new in 1972. The black one is mine, a 1967 L68 that I bought about 2 1/2 years ago. I use the VR1 oil in both.

I would just use the 51069. That is the one that I have always used changing the oil on my 1973 with 350. I use high zinc oil, but not the racing filter.
