yeah its an electric antenna. Well the black wire im pretty sure is a ground because it has a little copper ring a the end that looks like your supposed to fit around a screw and then just tighten...

Ok i bought a new antenna from ecklers. I have it mounted and everything but i cant figure out how to wire it. I grounded the black wire form the new antenna then theres a red and blue wire also...

Well its just that according to what some pretty experienced mechanics tune it and tell me i should have around 350hp but i just dont feel it when i hit the gas.

THis is just something that i have always wondered. I know that there are alot of angles from the crank to the wheels and i always wondered how much power we loose going though all that redirection...

Well i just put on the manual choke back on. Im not too sure how it is supposed to work. I assume you adjust the choke yourself, and then as the car warms up it opens up more.....right? :confused: ...

when i took the starter out i didnt clean the contacts inside the solenoid. I just cleaned outside terminals. But thnx cardo0 i will try the steps youve suggested. I did notice something funny...
