It is original OEM. I had it in my 2012 GS Convertible. This was a disk I received from GM, when they still did the 1 upgrade free deal. I left the original version 8 with the car when I traded it....

If you are in Dallas or thew surrounding Counties it will get OBDII checked. Just make sure you do not have codes and all sensors are reading ready. If you have a good tune this is already the case...
