push button starter

has anyone installed a "push button" start on their C5....I've replaced the ignition switch once already and think it is going again...codes 1571 and 1689....stay on sometimes ....clear themselves...

front sway bar end link removal

sway bar end link that attaches to sway bar comes off easily...
not so much the one attached to the car....transverse spring, crossmember, shock all block my being able to get a wrench on the nut...

I got under there a couple of days ago and the bulbs are all working....the "flasher" yellow bulb works fine and the little white #194 bulb comes on when you turn the column stalk for the lights...

winshield rubber molding

for a C5 2000 coupe (no heads up display) I need the rubber that goes around the windshield on the top and sides....that bottom of winshield piece if available as well....rubber must be in good...

Mickey Thompson has come out with tires called Street Comp....look them up on the website and get the specs....I just put 295/35/18's on the back of my 2000 coupe....I really like these tires...good...

windshield rubber molding

getting the windshield replaced due to a crack is not a problem...very reasonable....but if you have to replace the rubber molding it is $500 OEM....this is for a 2000 C5....you apparently can only...

Electrical gremlins...

c5 corvette....suddenly this has happened....when headlights are turned on the green "blinker" arrow on the right side comes on and glows a solid green...it does not interfere with the turn signal...

uneven brake pad wear

looked at the front brake pads on my 2000 C5....pads on the outside are hardly worn but on the inside they are just about gone.....why the uneven wear....don't recall the pads wearing like this...

when replacing the oil pressure sender do you add red or blue thread lock to the threads?
do you tighten just to tight or try and do the 11 in/lbs that are called for...
this can be tricky in such...

have C5 coupe with heads,cam, headers.....with A/C off it runs below 200*F in this hot So. Carolina sun (160*F thermostat)....but...

don't forget the hardened output shaft....have 2000 coupe with change from 2.73 to 3.42 gears(Z06)...have headers and cam....stall is the Yank 3600....it was installed in 2007.....wife drove the car...

have Kooks headers on my 2000 C5 coupe....O2 sensor on each of the pipes ....getting a 155 code that involves the sensors....or one of the sensors...do I need to remove and replace both or just...
