yes its dry at all the fittings its like fuel is sitting in my carb?? when i open the hood i get a strong smell i smell by the pump nothing but by the carb and take of air cleaner cover very strong...

Garage smells of gas

I changed my fuel pump on my 76 l48 also had my original carb rebuilt now I smell gas in my garage. I'm pretty sure smell is coming out of my carb.? No leaks any ideas why thanks

i have a set i took off my 76 one has a 3 inch crack from the top in the middle the other than that its nice the other is perfect. i have alot of parts off 76

well i warmed up the motor check fluild it was a pint low took out car slow at first felt alittle slipping and than after 5 blocks solid shifts great so it was alittle low thanks again every one
