81' Hood Closing Help !

Hi All,

Recently touched up the underside of my hood with some black paint.
I didn't totally remove hood from the car but did take off the brackets which lock into the latches to clean them up....

Last night while reinstalling my 81's hood prop arm I "accidentally" crimped the red wire going to the under hood lamp.
Immediately it sparked and some smoke came up from somewhere near the fire...

Changed my exhaust to true dual with Magnaflow muffs and its nice and throaty when you want it....but not obnoxious at all....
