It depends where you're putting the indicator. If you measure the outer most part of the rotor which is the correct way to check for a warped rotor. They do warp!

If you will note when taking out the bolt, there is residue of thread lock on the threads from the factory. Use blue locktite..20 lbs ft. is minor torque. It's what I did. Do what you want.

I don't understand when they, dealers tech/service writer, state "needs immediate attention for trans service quoting the TSB. Is this not a warranty issue? GM dealers not doing themselves any good...

In my case as I'm sure others ,we paid a fee of $1495 for optional wheels. Which were for different finishes or style. It's an even bigger poke in the butt.
